JCM Locksmiths – where it all began
John McMahon started out in 1968 at the age of 20 cutting keys at his home in the larder cupboard. This started his inspiration to be a locksmith. John opened up JCM Locksmiths in 1970 with Brian Hull, he then went Ltd in 1975. His wife Maggie, son Steve and daughter Sharon still work with JCM.
Nukey – John’s legacy lives on
John later purchased Nukey Countplace Ltd in 1992-1993 and this has been a successful business. Sadly John passed away in November 2013; both Nukey and JCM remain to trade as John would have wished.

Our customers
We have a wide range of customers from one person who needs a replacement key for a filing cabinet at home to office furniture companies, other Locksmiths and government departments such as prisons and HM Revenue & Customs. We can accept orders over the phone, email and through our website. As the saying goes…no order too big or too small!
Same Day Posting
All of our orders get posted the same day we receive them if placed before 12 pm. We take pride in our customer service and like to make it as easy as possible for our customers to order locks and keys from us. We are always happy to help our customers as much as we can.
